They use this data solely on our behalf. They do not share it except in aggregate form; no data is shared as to any individual user.
Google Analytics for Firebase is used to track your use of Wildlife Wonders App in the following ways: an instance ID is generated for every user and IP addresses are used to determine the country of the user.
On Android, the data is derived from the Android Advertising ID, which is automatically collected on devices with Google Play Services installed. On iOS, this data is derived from the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) when available (i.e. when your app links to the Ad Support Framework).
Examples are, but not restricted to:
when you open the app;
when you perform certain actions e.g. viewing content or screens;
how long you spend interacting with the app and its features;
All statistic information is collected via Google Firebase. For specifications please click here.
From the app the UDID (Unique Device Identifier) is read and encrypted. This is needed to create a unique user experience. This UDID is stored on our server on Azure. The UDID is send ‘one-way encrypted’ to Azure and gets also stored like this, so the real UDID can never become available. It’s also not possible to link this to a specific user because no other data source is connected to this.
Depending on which features and functionality of the Vuforia SDK are utilized in the application, Information is sent by the App to PTC Inc. (PTC), its affiliates and/or its service providers.
