A media veteran of 28 years, he has vast experience in the television and digital arenas. Starting as a runner at Endemol Netherlands, he quickly rose to become Executive Director at Endemol Interactive International, responsible for worldwide interactivity around formats such as Big Brother, Deal Or No Deal and all their participation TV content. In 2005, he co-founded 2Waytraffic, which was acquired by Sony Pictures Television in 2008. From 2009 to 2013 he was CEO/shareholder at Blazhoffski Group, overseeing a majority shareholder acquisition by Warner Bros. From 2014, he was Senior Vice President Prime Time Entertainment ProSiebenSAT1, responsible for all prime time entertainment, reality and comedy formats on SAT1.
Ketelaar serves as a board advisor to various international leading media companies and invests in various digital companies, including, as a co-founder, Creative Clicks, a global leading mobile marketing company.
Bas has a passion for creative leadership and emerging tech. In 1997 Bas co-founded MVLG eBusiness Consulting, which later became part of Lost Boys LBi – a leading digital agency in Europe. In 2002 Bas Verhart co-founded Media Republic an Amsterdam-based new media company. As part of Media Republic, Guerrilla Games was founded, one of Europe's leading game development studios.
In 2006 Bas started the PICNIC conference, an international event in the areas of creativity, media, entertainment and technology. He also co-founded the Green Challenge, an initiative to invite creative entrepreneurs to come up with innovative solutions for a sustainable world.
In 2010 Bas co-founded THNK, The School of Creative Leadership (www.thnk.org). THNK is a global education and innovation institute supported by Stanford University, McKinsey & Company, Vodafone, AT&T, Cisco, UNStudio, and others. It offers a new type of creative leadership education in places like Amsterdam, Vancouver, Shanghai, Lisbon and Silicon Valley.
In addition to his daily role as a well-known television presenter, Winston has also excelled in the business and creative aspects of the media world for the past 20 years. He was one of the co-founders of Media Republic, which was subsequently sold to WPP in 2010, and Guerrilla Games, which was acquired by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. In addition to his strong business acumen, Winston was asked to join John De Mol at the launch of Talpa Media, becoming its CCO and leading the way in ‘Branded’ content development. His experience and reputation has ensured he is one of the best ‘connected’ people in the Netherlands, helping his start-up ventures grow rapidly in size and profitability.
Jeroen is the COO/CFO of DFFRNT Media, overseeing all operational activities of the DFFRNT group, including finance and corporate legal departments.
Since starting his career at Ernst & Young, Jeroen has spent 20 years working for many of the key players in the media industry, including Endemol, 2waytraffic (listing on AIM) and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
